What is the Xavier Miserachs´ archive?

Xavier Miserachs´ archive is the result of nearly five decades of professional activity from 1952 to 1998 and it´s composed of 80,000 photographic images, comprising around 60,000 negative strips, 20,000 slides or transparencies and 2,500 contact sheets, as well as administrative documentation, several notebooks and the personal library of the author.

Are the elements that compose the Miserachs´ archive consultable?

Yes. Since February 2011 the materials that compose the Miserachs´ archive except for the processed prints (new and vintage) are at the MACBA Study Center.

Who manages the reproduction rights for Miserachs´ work or documents?

MACBA manages Miserachs’ author rights and handles the permission to reproduce his work (arxiu@macba.cat).

I´m interested in doing some research over Miserachs work and/or am interested in purchasing a vintage print or a new processed print from the original negatives
